It hasn't been much fun, it hasn't been what we want but let's all just stay calm. Some of you MAy feel like the little kid above or even angrier but please my fellow Sox lovers no worries. I haven't talked much about the Sox because frankly it is way to early to be panicking. Now not much of this early season has been encouraging, the offense is lackluster and baseball's rotation has not pitched well enough to deserve any praise close to that. But the baseball season is way to long to be out of it already. A great example of why we should not fret Sox Nation is the Yankees of last year. They started the year at about .500 and through the first 32 games they were 15-17. Now our start is a little worse at 4-9 but the fact is that with a six game home stand against Texas and Baltimore the Sox can very easily get right back on track. Another thing to remember is that either the Rays or Yankees will fade. Not fade away but they will not win at this rate for the entire season, with the randomness of injuries and hitting slumps it is safer to hold any World Series or playoff predictions for August not April.
Sincerely A Quietly Confident Member,
Mike MArinella
