For some it means nothing, for others it means 26.2 miles of agony, and for others it means power hours and recklessness. MArathon Monday should become a holiday in the city of Boston officially. It felt like the entire campus was inebriated by about noon time and on such a beautiful day like it was yesterday happiness was contagious. It was aMAzing to see the amount of people who were in such high spirits to watch thousands of people simply run by. I mean I know alcohol has a huge say in that but nevertheless it is arguably the best day to be in Boston. Not only were there hundreds of thousands of people to see the actual race but the Red Sox always hold an 11:05 first pitch in what is usually a great baseball game, not yesterday's loss against the Rays. Last year it was aMAzing because 4/20 and Marathon Monday fell upon the same day.
Cypress Hill and Devin the Dude will release albums today in an ode to this unofficial stoner holiday. But seeing as I have a marketing pitch to set up by 7pm and a newspaper article to re-type I will not be participating in the festivities like many of my brethern. In other music news it is only a week until the release of B.O.B's debut which features a great track called Airplanes pt. 2 which has a sick verse from MArshal MAthers. Also my boy Burbank set up a blog and I read the first post and enjoyed what he's got going on so check him out, http://gqburbs.blogspot.com/. Lastly in honor of the spirit of today here is a link, so to all those blazin today much love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uvEFKLS8S4
