You Can Take The Cat Out Of The Alley But You Can't Take The Alley Out Of The Cat

Months ago while at Logan International Airport my mother spotted a stray cat. Her love and weakness for aniMAls gave her enough courage to go up to the stray cat and take him home. Little did we know what we had brought into the house. He's a cold blooded killer and number one alley cat! In the first weeks of his being domesticated he killed numerous flies, chipmunks, and mice. Including one behaded chipmunk that he was throwing around the living room floor. Smokey, seen below taking it back to the cardboard boxes he once roamed the streets in, is a great cat don't get me wrong but he has a mean streak and quite the appetite. Today he added another notch on his belt. As I walked in from a hard day of work I heard my sister exclaim, "EWWWW What is that?!!" Now of course living with a 18 year old girl can be interesting and draMA is present but this felt different. Sure enough the proof was lying MAngled on the back porch. It was nothing I have ever seen before in the sMAll town of Winchester MAssachusetts, non other than a BAT! I don't think I would ever have come across one if it wasn't for this cat. For those that don't believe me the pics will surely erase all doubts.
