This Brother Means Business
This MAn is hilarious. Saw this over on Barstool and I had to put it up. This is the victims brother, Antoine Dodson, who helped fight off the attacker and sent out a stern warning to whoever it was that pulled this stupid and disgusting stunt. Rape is never a funny subject but this guys mannerisms are hilarious and not to mention he drops some quality quotes. Here is the video so watch and enjoy.
This Kid Has the Right Idea

Although the Celtics are supposedly close to trading for Spanish swingMAn Rudy Fernandez I feel more like the kid pictures above. Our once belvoed 3 point specialist Eddie House had signed with the enemy, and no I do not mean the Lakers, the Miami Heat. This one hurts more than Bosh or LeBron ever will. It MAkes me hate the NBA even more as well as gauge my eyes out as more players pass up a chance to play in Boston. Why would you not want to play in front of the best fans in the league? Boston is no New York but it is a substantial east coast city, is it the other players on our team? I don't think it's Doc Rivers because he is often called a "players" coach. A year or two ago a Boston sports fan had a lot to be hopeful about but with the choke in game 7 by the C's, the Pats collapse in the superbowl, the Bruins collapse against the Flyers and the emergence of the Rays as the number 2 team in the AL East it is a tough time to be a big bean town supporter.

500 Days of Weezy

This is a great collection of Wayne's verses plastered onto music by The Smiths, Regina Spector, Hall and Oates, Temper Trap and Feist. This CD satisfies those wayne fans craving his new post jail music and also extends to a more alternative rock audience, it is a well rounded disc. It is a real eclectic group of tunes. I usually don't like to use that word because it is overused in our society but that is not the point. It's called 500 Days of Weezy as you've already read. This project was inspired by indie film hit 500 Days of Summer, quality flick by the way, it is a must have of any music fan or fan of the movie. Here is a link to download it for yourselves. http://www.brobible.com/story/13160069/lil-wayne-mashes-smiths-regina-spektor-simon-garfunkel-and-more-500-days-weezy

You Can Take The Cat Out Of The Alley But You Can't Take The Alley Out Of The Cat
Sox Struggles

After losing 3 of 4 to the lowly MAriners. I am worried to say the least. The offense has been lacking but it is the relief pitching that irks me the most. Where is our bullpen? With the trade deadline looming it is now time for Theo to pull a move to bring in some relief help. Pap isn't the same Pap and no one else had been consistent enough. It is the type of season where I don't see this team as a playoff team or a championship threat. It is hard to see this team even with what I see as the best pitching staff, when healthy that is, beating out the Rays. It's a scary time for the nation. Only time will tell.

New Posner

Mikey Posner leaked a track off his debut album. It's called Please Don't Go. Here is a link to download it if you are a fan. I think he has potential to have a decent debut and decent career. It's a love or hate thing with Posner you either love his throwback 80's pop crooning or you hate it. I am one of the ones who digs his steez. Enjoy. http://goodmusicallday.com/2010/07/20/mike-posner-please-dont-go/

Rondo and Red Bull

It's pretty awesome that he's the first NBA player sponsored by the company. This video is cool, any excuse to watch Rondo doing what he does best is cool with me. MAkes me miss the Celtics and MAkes me miss what could have been. Apparently Celtics looking at Lakers reject Adam Morrison, seems like a Scal replacement. Also rumors flowing about a possible Josh Howard sign and trade for Rasheed Wallace that I would welcome in a second.

Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa Doin It Again

This MAkes me like Rick Ross a lot more than ever. It is a real dope move to put these two MC's on this remix it's almost perfect. This video is what you would expect from the mary jane spittas. Here a link for some reason my video downloading thing is messing up.

Free Agency

I haven't written about all this NBA free agency talk because there has been overkill on ESPN. Well here we go. AMAr'e to the Knicks. Great move by New York. Bosh and Wade to the Heat. Good move for Wade but they are still missing pieces. LeBron, still doesn't know. Surprise Surprise he is taking the longest and MAking it an event, sometimes I forget he is the biggest superstar in the game. Gay stayed. Rudy got paid and rightfully so the MAn is a smooth wing player with MEGAstar potential. Johnson will stay. In my opinion Joe Johnson likes shots, and in Atlanta is where he will get the most shots. Shaq to the C's? I am torn about this rumor because Shaq is an OLD MAn and I don't feel like hearing we are to old for another entire season. Boozer talking to the Knicks? This might have been the most puzzling piece of news I saw, although an AMAr'e Boozer front line would be scary I don't think it MAkes much sense to have 2 PF's that are both worth that much money on one teams payroll. Is David Lee the most underrated player in the NBA? I think he is the crown jewel on free agency, he isn't worth as much money as these other names but fresh off his first All-Star game he is a double double MAchine and should be the Celtics number 1 target. Anyways tomorrow we will find out if LeBron is staying in Cleveland or not, hold your breath folks.

State of The Union

With Holland upsetting the Brazilians today I thought I would catch up on some things I missed this weekend while working my ass of. Although yours truly picked this team to win it all not MAny others expected the Dutch to pull of this upset. I was very happy to see Brazil the annual world cup favorite concede an own goal. Now it is up to GerMAny to pull through against Argentina for my prediction to still be in tact.
In other news around the world Eminem outsold Drake by about 200,000 with 741,000 copies of Recovery. Now do I think the CD is better? Actually yes I do. I am a bigger Em fan than Drake but Drake did very well and these two albums are great news for Hip-Hop.
Currency and Wiz have had a couple new songs come out in the recent days. Check out the Super High Remix by Rick Ross featuring the duo, as well a classic Spitta and Wiz collab called Scaling the Building, they are both worth checking out. Spitta also put out a single on iTunes with Mikey Rocks from the Cool Kids called The Hangover.
The Celtics found out that Paul Pierce would enter free agency but Doc Rivers is coming back. The good news is Rivers because he is the key to bringing back the Big 3. Now as a Celtics fan I would love to see this same team that was in the playoffs but that isn't going to happen we will be Sheed-less and Perk-less and possibly Ray-less. I have mixed emotions about the state of the C's and it is important for them to sign some bench talent in this free agency period. By the way there is no way in my mind that Paul Pierce doesn't play his entire career in Boston.
Despite all their injuries the Boston Red Sox are only 1.5 games behind the Yankees. By the way Varitek was just put on the DL as well. That puts Vartiek, Ellsbury, Pedroia, Beckett and Delcarmen all on the 15 day DL. With All-Star weekend coming up it is good news to see the Sox with 47 wins.
Yesterday I worked from 430am until 3pm. The longest day of work I have ever had in my life. Surprisingly I was able to be awake for the entire day. I have a new for any person who works at odd hours wether a construction worker, doctor, nurse, or whatever. Cheers to those who wake up at ungodly hours.
This weekend will bring us the 4th of July. At times I forget that it represents this young country's birthday and focus on the BBQ'S to be had and fireworks to be watched. I hope you all have great plans for the weekend and that we will remember where this nation came from.
